Recently, McLeod Health Cheraw, McLeod Health Clarendon, and McLeod Health Dillon were recognized for their commitment to patient safety with an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from the Leapfrog Group. This national nonprofit organization focuses on maintaining high standards of patient safety in hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.
Dr. Caetie Rabon, Rural Regional Chief Medical Officer for McLeod Health, expressed gratitude for the recognition and attributed it to the hard work and dedication of the hospital teams. The Leapfrog Group evaluates hospitals based on over 30 measures of errors, accidents, injuries, infections, and preventive systems in place.
